Is a 5 speed transmission from a 90's chevy truck compatible with an 80's k20 engine? - trailer tire speed rating

I look forward to a 5-speed manual tranny in my tow trailers K20 84 per lot, and I am tired with only 3 speeds. Any information would be useful.

The engine was not a problem that can Bell housings are different. Suppose there is a craft. Check the alignment of the bolt, if possible, share in its power transmission to the transmission you want. Check to determine the length of the two transmissions to determine whether they are of equal length. Make sure to see the spline on the shaft, whether the input corresponds to the speed of your 5th Check clutch gearbox splines before, to see if it corresponds to the drive clutch. If the transmission bolts up, and the same length as the old and the tapes of the game, and the lever through the floor at the same point, I think it boils. If all parties except the trans-splines of the driveshaft, you can change to match the yoke.
Good luck!

The answer is that everything is possible if you want to do all the work. The thing is physically fit with the engine, but the drive will be different. The front and back of the car differently. The trans-old scroll was blank and change the cable from above. The new PCM for transmission to the transfer of various pressures and speeds. So you can change, but there is still much to do to get the new job. It is perhaps the best secondary market for an operation in accordance with the law, without electronics.
